Craig is a 30-year industry veteran, he has held many IT positions at both IBM Canada and Compuware. Craig has been a speaker at various national and local conferences, including SHARE, IDUG, and CMG, where he won Best Paper in 2003. Craig lives and works near Toronto, Canada.
“DB2 External Stored Procedures verses Native Stored Procedures – What Do I Need to Know?”
This presentation is a cook-book approach to convert an External Stored Procedure to a Native Stored Procedure. We will take a look at the External Stored Procedure parameters and then address what to change in order to build a Native Stored Procedure in DB2 for z/OS.
Judy H. Nall – Computer Business International, Inc. (CBI)
Judy H. Nall is an internationally recognized DB2 for z/OS lecturer, consultant, writer and educator for Computer Business International, Inc. (CBI). Judy supports CBI customers by providing consulting services and classes on DB2 for z/OS.
She is a member of the IBM DB2 Gold Consultants Group, an elite group of 50 independent consultants from around the world who receive special briefings from and provide feedback to IBM. Judy also has been named a Data Champion by IBM for the past three years.
She will be presenting a one-day crammer class for Exam #617 at the IBM Information on Demand Conference (IOD) in October 2011 in Las Vegas. She also worked with IBM to develop the DB2 for z/OS IBM Certification Exam #737 for DB2 9 System Administration, Exam #730 for DB2 9 Data Base Administration, Exam #617 for DB2 10 Systems Administration, Exam #612 for DB2 10 Data Base Administration.
Her book, DB2 9 System Administration for z/OS – Certification Exam #737, publisher MC Press, available August 2010. Her new book will be out in early 2012, DB2 10 for z/OS Systems Administration, Crammer Study Guide for Exam #617.

Alan Jay Spiegel -- DB2 Advisor IBM US East Extended Team
Alan is a seasoned Database IT specialist and DB2 Advisor with 30 years of experience in the field. He acted as an application and systems DBA in the health care industry supporting DB2, IDMS and Oracle. He developed company wide application databases supporting customer services, actuarial and claims processing. In addition he also maintained and installed new releases of the database engines. Currently as a DB2 Advisor in the East region, he performs migration workshops on new releases of DB2 as well as provides technical assistance to both customer accounts and the pre-sales DB2 Z teams.
